Monday January 24, 2022 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
This workshop presents the basis of sound financial management. It is particularly aimed at members of the cooperative's board of directors and finance committee. You will see the role of the board of directors, the treasurer and the other members of the finance committee. The FHCQ's recommendations regarding the operating rules and legal obligations in this area complete the content.
Maintenance expenses and budget monitoring
Monday February 7, 2022 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
This workshop is intended for members of the building management (maintenance) and finance committees as well as for administrators. Only one theme is discussed: maintenance expenses. There you will see the annual maintenance budget, reserve management, control of maintenance expenses, long-term planning, organization of chores, repair log, etc.
Organization of committees
Tuesday February 8, 2022 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
This workshop aims to make the work organization of members more efficient within the committees of your cooperative. Take the chance to mobilize your members around a fair sharing of responsibilities and tasks. This training allows you to properly structure the main committees of your coop while emphasizing collaboration.
Management of participation and membership contract
Thursday February 10, 2022 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Rediscover the habits and attitudes that promote member involvement in the management of the cooperative business in this workshop which presents the model member contract recommended by the FHCQ. This training will help you put forward a preventive approach and develop tools to stimulate involvement. You will also be presented with a simple and effective procedure for managing your members' breaches of their commitments and obligations towards the cooperative.
Organization of the building management committee (maintenance)
Thursday February 17, 2022 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
This workshop will allow you to organize your building management committee, commonly known as the “maintenance committee”. You will see the role of the committee, its mandates, its tasks and its calendar of activities, as well as a building management policy and the distribution of housekeeping tasks for common areas. You will leave with plenty of tools to function well, including a flowchart template that you can adapt.
Effective General Assembly
Monday February 21, 2022 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Are your meetings chaotic and interminable? The meeting lacks decorum? Give yourself the means to make these important meetings more effective and enjoyable. On the program: the types of assemblies, the role and mandate of the assembly of members, the preparation of assemblies and professional tips for leading these meetings and defusing problematic situations.

Relaunch the commitment and involvement within your coop! Here is a training course for all members, both old and new. A workshop that asks the real questions to reflect on the attitudes to develop and maintain in order to be an active member and involved in the management of the coop.
Management of the secretariat
Monday February 28, 2022 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The training aims to give you the basic tools to ensure adequate management of the secretariat. You learn to understand the legal responsibility of the committee. The mandate, role, responsibilities, tasks are discussed by the workshop. A model schedule of activities and an information management policy are also presented.
